Matthew 28:18-20

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Monthly Prayer for May 2020!

Minister Allie P Jordan, sends this prayer!

Dear God,

Please purge my agenda today.  Take out of my life everything and everyone that could possibly take my focus from YOU.  Take out of my every thought, every belief, every intention, every motivation that does not make you the priority in my life.  Take out of my heart every experience, every memory, every desire that does not serve your purpose for my life.  Remind me that your plan, your love for me is my salvation.  Everything else is a figment of my imagination and a function of fear.  Today, dear God, I recognize that I don't evern know what to pray for, so I will leave the blessing up to you.  And so it is!

AMEN

May TESTIMONY from Sis. April Cooper, Christian Author & Teacher

One testimony, that comes to mind right away is my new job that started in December. I had been praying for a work-from-home job since I was pregnant with my youngest child. And this past December I started a work-from-home job in my field of work.  And I believe that it is truly an answered prayer because I had said that, "Lord if a work-from-home position is not for me and that's not your will for me that's okay." My youngest will be eight soon, which means I prayed for a full-time work-from-home job in my field of work for several years... and I got that job in December, which also was right before all this pademic started.  HE is an ON-TIME God for sure!    And so I feel so blessed to be able to work from home, but I was already able to work from home as this transition happened for our society.  I can work and still be home with my family!

From the PASTOR! & FIRST LADY!

Greetings Family,

In the name of Jesus Christ our Savior, our elder brother and our mediator, if ever a need for a source such as Christ, we are certainly in need of him right now. The world is facing a crisis that we have never experienced before but even with things as they are we know that Our Omnipotent God is still in control.

In Times like these, we need to depend upon the word of God to keep us encouraged:

Isaiah 45:6-7; “That the people may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none besides me; I am the Lord, and there is no other. I formed light and create darkness, I make well- being and create calamity, I am the Lord, who does all these things.”

Philippians 4: 6-7; “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Chris Jesus.”

1 Peter 5: 6-7; “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.”

2 Chronicles 7:14; “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

John 16:33; “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

The Children of God must be of good courage and know that God is still in control. What we are facing did not catch him by surprise. He is aware and we should have the assurance that even in the midst of all we are facing, “All things work together for Good.” Even when we do not understand it, it is still working for our good. Stay safe, remain connected and stay home when possible. Follow the guidelines set forth by our Government

This too shall pass….

Blessings in the days to come
